Will employers know if I use ChatGPT for CV?
Often they can't tell, and many don't mind. What they notice is a line you can't back up. If the AI wrote 30% where your work gave 14%, the interview will find it. Use AI to word what you did, then check every line against your own CV. Our check marks each line as Matches, Goes beyond or No match.
Can ChatGPT write a CV?
Yes. ChatGPT can write a full CV from your notes or rewrite the one you have, and the wording is often good. The risk is what it adds: a bigger number, a tool you never used, a title you never had. Paste your own CV and the AI version above, and we mark every line that says more than you wrote.
Can employers detect AI in resumes?
Some try with AI detectors, but those tools are unreliable on short texts like CV lines. Recruiters are better at spotting generic phrases and claims that don't fit the rest of a career. The safer test is your own: can you explain every line in an interview? Lines marked Goes beyond or No match are the ones to fix first.
Can ATS detect resume lies?
No. An applicant tracking system stores and sorts CVs by words and fields. It does not check facts. The checks come later, from the recruiter, the interview and your references. That is why an invented number is risky even when it gets you through the filter. Compare the AI version with your own CV before you send it, line by line.
