What happens to your CV
This page covers the CV checks you can run without an account. It says only what our code does.
CVs uploaded without an account
- What we keep
- The file you upload, the text we read from it, and the page you uploaded from.
- Why
- To score the jobs on that page or check your CV, once, at your request.
- How
- On our own server, with our own rules. Your CV is not sent to an AI service and not used to train one.
- How long
- We delete it automatically 24 hours after upload, or at once when you click “Delete it now”. If you create an account within those 24 hours, the CV moves into your account and stays until you delete it or your account.
- Your IP address
- We use it to limit how many uploads one connection can make. It is not stored with your CV.
- What we never do
- Apply to jobs for you, or share your CV with employers.
Fact check
The two texts you paste into the AI CV fact check are compared on our server and not stored. They are not sent to an AI service.

Once you have an account, your CV and everything you add live in your account. You can download or delete all of it in Settings.
