As a QA Manager, you will be responsible for defining QA strategy, managing project-level quality objectives, and ensuring QA teams are equipped to support successful development and release outcomes. Working closely with Production, Development, and studio leadership, you will drive quality initiatives, manage delivery risks, and help shape the future of QA within the project.

This role combines leadership, operational oversight, and strategic thinking, ensuring QA remains an integral part of development while delivering exceptional experiences for our players.

On-site work only.

What you'll do

    • Own QA delivery across the project or projects under your responsibility.
    • Define project-level QA strategies, testing approaches, quality goals, and delivery expectations.
    • Lead, support, and develop QA Leads and senior members of the QA team.
    • Establish testing priorities, quality gates, and milestone readiness expectations.
    • Review testing coverage, quality risks, delivery confidence, and project health.
    • Own project-level QA reporting, forecasting, and stakeholder communication.
    • Make resource planning and allocation decisions to support project needs.
    • Manage escalations relating to quality, delivery, staffing, and operational concerns.
    • Partner closely with Production, Development, and leadership teams to support project success.
    • Drive continuous improvement across QA processes, workflows, tools, and methodologies.
    • Support recruitment, career development, succession planning, and capability growth within the QA department.
    • Ensure QA practices align with studio objectives, production goals, and business priorities.

What You Bring

    • 7+ years of experience in QA within the games industry.
    • Shipped titles through a full development cycle.
    • Proven experience managing QA teams on large-scale game development projects.
    • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, production processes, and project delivery practices.
    • Experience defining QA strategies, quality objectives, and testing approaches at project level.
    • Demonstrated success managing resources, priorities, and delivery expectations across multiple teams.
    • Strong leadership, coaching, and people development skills.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
    • Experience managing project-level quality risks, delivery concerns, and escalation paths.
    • Ability to make informed decisions in complex and fast-moving development environments.
    • Passion for quality, continuous improvement, and team development.

Nice to Have

    • Experience supporting multiplayer, live-service, or large-scale AAA productions.
    • Experience with certification, compliance, and release management activities.
    • Experience managing external QA partners, vendors, or outsourcing relationships.
    • Strong understanding of Perforce, development pipelines, and game production workflows.
    • Familiarity with Hunt: Showdown and its development challenges.
    • Experience contributing to departmental strategy or organisational growth initiatives.
